Supporting Indigenous Women’s and 2SLGBTQI+ Organizations Program
Overview
This program provides funding to Indigenous women’s and 2SLGBTQI+ organizations to support projects that advance gender equality, promote safety and wellbeing, and build leadership capacity. The goal is to strengthen Indigenous-led organizations that serve women, girls, and 2SLGBTQI+ people by providing financial resources for operational stability, programming, and advocacy.
Funding Amount
Varies depending on project and organization size. Multi-year funding may be available for eligible organizations.
Eligibility / Who It’s For
- Indigenous women’s organizations
- Indigenous 2SLGBTQI+ organizations
- Indigenous-led non-profits serving women, girls, and 2SLGBTQI+ peoples
- Projects must be Indigenous-led and focus on advancing equality and wellbeing
