Reserve Land and Environment Management Program
The Reserve Land and Environment Management Program (RLEMP) provides funding and capacity-building support to First Nations to manage their reserve lands, natural resources and environment. The program provides tools, training and knowledge to help First Nations undertake land management activities under the Indian Act and build toward greater responsibility for their lands.
Indigenous Community-Based Climate Monitoring Program
Provides funding to support Indigenous-led climate monitoring projects that track environmental and climate change impacts using both Indigenous knowledge and western science.

Supports Indigenous communities in monitoring, stewardship, and protection of their traditional lands, waters, and ice. Helps strengthen Indigenous governance, environmental oversight, and land-based cultural knowledge.
