Composite Activities
Composite Activities is part of the Supporting Artistic Practice program. It provides multi-year support for Canadian artists, arts and cultural workers, artistic groups and organizations to carry out multiple, large or complex activities over a period of up to 3 years. Funding can support the artistic process from research to presentation, literary publishing, innovation and capacity building within the Canadian arts sector, public engagement with Canadian art and artists, and the development of Canadian arts markets at home and abroad.
International Residencies
International Residencies is part of the Arts Across Canada and Abroad program. It supports Canadian artists, arts workers, artistic groups and artistic organizations participating in international residencies.
Funding supports creative research and/or creation that includes international networking and cultural exchange. The residency must take place outside Canada and last at least 5 consecutive days.
Representation and Promotion
Representation and Promotion is part of the Arts Across Canada and Abroad program. It provides funding for travel activities that promote Canadian artists and artistic works, support market development, and help establish a place for Canadian arts practice in the global arts market.
Sector Support, Innovation and Development
Sector Support, Innovation and Development is part of the Supporting Artistic Practice program. It provides funding for projects that encourage the ongoing growth, strengthening, and development of Canada’s arts sector.
Creating, Knowing & Sharing — Small-Scale Activities
Supports First Nations, Inuit, and Métis artists, cultural carriers, groups, collectives, and organizations with small-scale artistic and cultural activities. The program is designed for activities that require smaller amounts of funding and faster access to support.
Creating, Knowing & Sharing — Short-Term Projects
Supports First Nations, Inuit, and Métis artists, cultural carriers, groups, organizations, and communities in activities that strengthen Indigenous arts practices, cultures, and creative expression. Funding supports projects lasting up to one year.
Indigenous Arts Projects (Toronto)
Funds Indigenous artists, collectives, and organizations in Toronto to support creation, presentation, dissemination, and community arts projects. Encourages both traditional and contemporary Indigenous artistic expression.
Indigenous Arts Projects
Provides funding to Indigenous artists, groups, and organizations in Ontario for artistic creation, production, community-engaged arts, and professional development. Supports a wide range of Indigenous artistic practices and cultural expression.
Indigenous Arts Micro-Grants
Supports Indigenous artists in Québec for small-scale artistic projects, creation, training, or exploration. These micro-grants are designed to quickly fund emerging or established Indigenous creators with flexible, accessible support.
