Creating, Knowing & Sharing — Short-Term Projects

Overview:
Supports First Nations, Inuit, and Métis artists, cultural carriers, groups, organizations, and communities in activities that strengthen Indigenous arts practices, cultures, and creative expression. Funding supports projects lasting up to one year.

Funding Amount:
Up to $100,000 for projects lasting up to 12 months.

Eligibility / Who It’s For:
First Nations, Inuit, and Métis artists, curators, cultural carriers, groups, collectives, and Indigenous-led organizations in Canada.

Project Examples:
Art creation and production
Cultural gatherings and sharing
Workshops and mentorship
Festivals and exhibitions
Land-based arts and cultural programming
