Supporting Indigenous Women’s and 2SLGBTQI+ Organizations Program
This program provides funding to Indigenous women’s and 2SLGBTQI+ organizations to support projects that advance gender equality, promote safety and wellbeing, and build leadership capacity. The goal is to strengthen Indigenous-led organizations that serve women, girls, and 2SLGBTQI+ people by providing financial resources for operational stability, programming, and advocacy.
Sport for Social Development in Indigenous Communities: Stream Three
An SSDIC stream specifically for projects serving Indigenous women, girls, and/or 2SLGBTQI+ people. These are sport & recreation initiatives aimed at social development (health, education, etc.).
Sport for Social Development in Indigenous Communities: Stream Two
Part of the SSDIC program, this stream funds Indigenous governments, communities, or Indigenous non-profit organizations to deliver sport and recreation projects in Indigenous communities. The focus is on social development outcomes: health, education, reducing risky behaviour, etc.
