Workplace Skills Training (SkillsPEI)

Overview:
Supports employers in Prince Edward Island to train new or existing employees through short-term, job-specific training that builds skills and meets workforce needs. The program helps strengthen workforce capacity and supports long-term economic growth.

Funding Amount:
Up to 50% of eligible training costs
(typically up to $10,000 per trainee, or more in some cases)

• Private sector businesses in Prince Edward Island
• Non-profit organizations
• Band or Tribal Councils
• Employer groups, industry associations, or sector councils
