Creating, Knowing and Sharing – Travel

Overview
Provides funding for travel by First Nations, Inuit, and Métis individuals, groups, or organizations to support participation in events, workshops, mentorships, or exchanges that strengthen cultural identity and artistic practice.

Funding Amount
Up to $30,000 (depending on travel scope and costs).

Eligibility / Who It’s For

• First Nations, Inuit, Métis individuals, groups, and Indigenous-led organizations
• Travel must be directly related to cultural or artistic development

Project Examples

• Attending or presenting at arts festivals or conferences
• Traveling to share or learn traditional practices
• Exchanges between Indigenous communities
