Indigenous Loan Guarantee Program
Overview
This program provides loan guarantees to support Indigenous equity ownership in natural resource and infrastructure projects. By backing loans, it helps Indigenous communities secure financing to participate in major projects.
Funding Amount
Loan guarantees can cover up to 75% of a project’s debt, with a maximum of $5 billion available through the program.
