Travel Program
Overview:
Supports Indigenous screen-based creatives with travel costs related to professional development, project advancement, and industry participation. Funding can support travel for festivals, markets, conferences, training opportunities, community engagement, and artistic collaborations across Canada and internationally.
Funding Amount:
- Up to $2,500 for travel within Canada
- Up to $3,500 for travel to the United States
- Up to $4,500 for international travel
- Maximum of $4,500 per fiscal year per applicant
Eligibility / Who It’s For:
- First Nations, Inuit, and Métis screen-based creatives residing in Canada
- Indigenous sole proprietors or Indigenous-controlled companies (minimum 51% Indigenous ownership)
- Applicants must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents
- Applicants must be working in film, television, digital media, gaming, web, or XR content creation
